PMD predicts the cold wave currently sweeping Karachi will increase over the next two days, with temperatures as low as 8°C.
Fog reduced visibility near Karachi airport to 2.5 km Thursday morning, according to the Met Office.
Currently, 5 km/h northwest winds with 90% humidity impacted the city. On average, the next two days will be between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius.
Today will be chilly and dry across the country, with snow in the hills, the Met Office said.
Upper Pakistan, encompassing Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, will have rain and snow. Tuesday’s PMD calls for chilly, dry weather with snow in the mountains.
