COAS Bajwa said Pakistan wants to keep the US sustainable

General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Army Chief (COAS), said Pakistan wished for long-term and multi-domain cooperation with the US.

The COAS Declaration is released as a result of a statement published by the Inter-Services Public Relations (IPR) issued on Friday at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.

The military media wing stated that the meeting covered questions of mutual interest, the present security situation in Afghanistan and bilateral cooperation in many sectors.

“Pakistan wants to preserve a lasting partnership with the United States on a long-term and multifunctional basis,” Gen Qamar said.

Pakistan would continue to engage with all parties in a peaceful settlement and is dedicated to the Afghan peace process, said the military commander during the meeting.

Speaker Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri, Foreign Minister, stated earlier this day that Pakistan regarded the US a friend and sought wide connections to accomplish the common goal of peace and development in and outside the country.
