Christina Perri comes out months after her miscarriage to give an update on her health. The 34-year-old singer turned to Instagram to express how she’s dealing with the loss day by day.
“I believed I’d never been well again when we lost our daughter in November. I believed I would never laugh, play, dance, or love again… and for many months, I didn’t “A snapshot of the singer by the sea was captioned by the singer.”
“But then I tried to recover and learn how to live with the sorrow and loss, as well as the love and joy. How can we discover even the slightest meaning in our tragedy, something from which we can learn and grow, and something toward which we may grow?”
“It was so difficult and tiring,” she said, “but I can’t speak highly enough about the power of inner work and healing,” she added, adding that she will reveal the entire tale one day.
“It’s a monster. I kept telling myself that everything will be OK by the summer. Everything would be great if we were in Ocean City. We’d be OK if we could only get to Ocean City, I reasoned. That was correct. We’ve made it here, and we’re OK “Perri continued.
Her daughter was ‘born still,’ she had previously stated in November. In January of 2020, Perri experienced yet another miscarriage.
