Chinese Jetour released first official images of its new ‘Dasheng’ SUV

The first official images of Chinese Jetour new Dasheng SUV have revealed by the company. It has scheduled to go on sale in China in the third quarter of 2022. Chery’s Jetour sub-brand caters to a younger demographic of automobile purchasers.

Currently, Jetour offers nine distinct SUVs, each with a different powerplant. It’s the first in a new generation of Jetour automobiles gear for those born between 1997 and 2012.. Even the oldest members of Generation Z are just 25 years old or so. It makes them a relatively youthful target market for Chinese manufacturers, who regard them as potential first-time consumers.

Because of this, the Chinese Jetour Dasheng SUV has a sportier look with sharply cut lines and a diffuser-style bumper. Pop-out door handles and massive 20-inch alloy wheels round off the package. In the front, you’ll find a grille that extends into the car’s body. Jetour Dasheng’s public debut at the Beijing Auto Show this month has postponed owing to COVID’s unclear status.

Dasheng is the first Jetour built on the new Kunlun Architecture of the manufacturer. The design will use for a wide range of vehicles, including pickup trucks, SUVs, and 4×4 off-roaders. To power the Dasheng, there will be three different powertrain options: the turbo, the hybrid, and the non-turbo.
