Changan appears to be seriously contemplating expanding its wings in the Pakistani market. Following the import of a batch of cars consisting of the UNI-T small crossover, Hunter double cabin pickup, and Oshan X7 SUV, the business has imported the UNI-K mid-sized crossover SUV for trials and testing, according to import data.
The Changan Vision-V concept debuted at the Beijing Auto Show in September 2020, while the production version debuted at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November 2020. The UNI-K is mechanically based on the Changan CS95 SUV, but with a longer wheelbase. It has a length of 4,865mm, a width of 1,948mm, and a height of 1,700mm, with a wheelbase of 2,890mm. The UNI-T, on the other hand, is 4,515mm long, 1,870mm wide, and 1,565mm tall, with a 2,710mm wheelbase.
The UNI-K, like the UNI-T crossover, is aimed at youthful and passionate vehicle consumers and features an aggressive design language. The narrow front and rear headlamps and the complex grille up front give the car a lot of flairs. The design is attractive, particularly the rear roof spoiler piece, which combines a stabilizer fin with a spoiler and a rear camera.
The engine is a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine with 229 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque, mated to an Aisin 8-speed automated transmission and all-wheel drive. The three linked LCDs inside may display information such as tire pressure, navigation, speed, entertainment, gear, and so on. Furthermore, the 12.3-inch console-mounted display is made of Corning Gorilla cold-bent glass with an anti-reflective and anti-scratch coating, and it enables gesture control and OTA (over-the-air) updates.
