Vehari Police announced on Sunday that they had resolved a suspected false kidnapping case against Mahak Malik.
Police sources said that “on 6 July, Sharifaan Bibi of Chak No 204/EB Vehari, filed an appeal with Police Picket 48/Pul. She claimed that her son Faisal Abbas has reportedly kidnapped, under another companion Sajid alias Sajju of artist Mahak Malik. Sharifaan Bibi claimed that demand for release of Faisal Abbas by Mahak Malik is Rs 2 million.”
The Sadar Police have registered a kidnapping case against Mahak and have started the search for the kidnapped person. Deputy Chief of Police (DSP), Mazhar Hayat Hiraj, has formed a special team to track down Faisal Abbas. Using modern technology, the team tracked down the alleged kidnapped Faisal Abbas. Faisal lives in the village of Sahuka near Burewala in a rented building of his choice.
However, Vehari police arrested Faisal and opened an investigation.
