An officer and a soldier were Martyr in action against terrorists in Zewa, Kurram District, on Tuesday.
According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) release, the Security Forces launched an Area Sanitization Operation in Zewa, Kurram District, in response to reports of terrorists’ presence.
During the operation, three terrorists were killed. During a fierce battle with the terrorists, an officer, Captain Basit, and a soldier, Sepoy Hazrat Bilal, accepted shahadat.
Captain Basit was 25 years old and from Haripur, while Sepoy Hazrat Bilal was 22 years old and from Orakzai.
Search and cordon are underway to remove any additional terrorist activists identified in that region.
