Camilla Parker will replace Meghan Markle as Royal patronage of National Theatre

Prince Charles’ spouse Camilla Parker will replace Meghan Markle as the new Royal patronage of National Theatre. It has expected that Queen will give new duty to Camilla in next several months. The Duchess of Sussex has stepped down from her position and Royal duties.

According to reports, Duchess of Cornwall has desperate and quite irritated that she didn’t get the job in 2019. But she’ll be much more happy to take it on now. There were rumours that the Camilla Parker will use her clout to help the pandemic-devastated National theatre business.

Camilla attended the Olivier Awards in October 2020 and made an impassioned statement praising the industry’s importance.

She stated, “I believe in theatre. It’s the foundation of a vibrant cultural scene. It is a place where ideas may exchange and an effective tool for fostering a sense of belonging. For those who work in the theatre, I’d like to express my gratitude for your perseverance and adaptability. Please keep your spirits up. We are waiting for you and we need you.”

While in London in December 2020, Camilla and her husband saw a performance of Natasha Marshall’s play Half Breed at the Soho Theatre. She also paid a visit to the ITV set of Grace last year when writer Peter James gave her a cameo part.
