BTS publishes statement on Jin’s enlistment date

Big Hit Music, the official label of BTS, has issued a statement in response to the various rumors and claims that have been circulating about Jin’s enrollment date in the military.

Several news outlets say that the oldest member of BTS will start his five-week mandatory military service on December 13, 2022, at a boot camp in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province.

In response to the reports, the music agency put out a statement saying that it is hard to confirm the news that Jin was doing military duty.

Big Hit Music issued the following statement: “It is impossible to validate the reports.” Please understand.”

In the meantime, earlier this month, Jin, who will turn 30 in December, dropped a hint during a conversation with a fan that he would be enrolling in the military by the end of the year. Jin’s birthday is in December.

A tweet was also posted by the record company on October 17 with the following message: “It’s the perfect time, and the members of BTS are honoured to serve.”
