BTS Army has set yet another record

BTS armyThe music video for “Dynamite” by BTS has brought the group to a new level of success.

As of the 23rd of November, Soompi revealed that BTS Dynamite had reached the milestone of 1.6 billion views on YouTube.

On November 22, the boy band reached this landmark, making their music video the second one, following Boy With Luv, to do so.

Given that Dynamite was not released until August 21, 2020, this means that it took more than two years and three months for the video to reach one billion views.

With this accomplishment, Dynamite became the video in the history of K-pop that reached the 1.6 billion mark the quickest, surpassing the previous record that had been set by BLACKPINK’s music video DDU-DU DDU-DU, which had stood for 2 years and 11 months.

For those who are unaware, BTS is a South Korean boy band that is famous all over the world. The band consists of seven members: Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, and V. Jungkook rounds out the group.
