Britney Spears’ newly appointed attorney, Mathew Rosengart, has stated that he will take “active” efforts to remove his client’s conservatorship.
Britney is especially concerned that her father, Jamie Spears, who used to manage all aspects of her conservatorship but now simply controls her finances, be removed.
“My company and I are working quickly and promptly to submit a petition to remove Jamie Spears unless he resigns first,” Mathew told reporters outside the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles.
Britney claimed last month that her conservatorship had left her “traumatised” and “depressed,” and she demanded that her father Jamie be imprisoned.
