Bilawal Bhutto says PPP to make PM Imran Khan accountable on Feb 27

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Co-Chairperson of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), stated on Thursday that his party will hold Prime Minister Imran Khan accountable in front of the people when its march from Karachi to Islamabad on February 27 arrives.

Speaking at a public rally, the PPP chairperson stated that the government of Prime Minister Imran Khan has been designated as the most corrupt government in the history of the country by the Transparency International report.

President Zardari,  Asifa, and I are currently in the country. If you can, try to catch us. Every claim you have levied against us will be proven false, and we shall be exonerated. He explained that in the past, he and his colleagues had been respectfully exonerated of all allegations.

“It appears that history has rendered its judgement on us. Musharraf has turned into a fleeing traitor. “Those who are saying it now will suffer the same fate,” the chairman of the PPP said. The administration, rather than dealing with the plight of the people, has issued appreciation certificates to members of its own ranks.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi poked fun at the Foreign Minister, stating that if his performance was so excellent, why didn’t he award him with a certificate of appreciation. “By refusing to issue certificates to the rest of the cabinet members, Khan sahib has demonstrated his lack of faith in them,” he added. “

When asked about Senator Faisal Vawda’s disqualification, Bilawal stated that “one of their wickets has already fallen before the march,” implying that the entire nation is paying the price for the government’s incompetence.

He stated that if a no-confidence movement against Prime Minister Imran Khan is called, the country will be able to know who stands with them and who is willing to compromise in order to remain in power.
