As a result of an unfortunate occurrence in Lahore’s Kahna, when a teenager allegedly killed down four members of his family, the Punjab Police has once again urged a ban on the popular online game PUBG in Pakistan.
The Punjab police have filed recommendations to the home department demanding a ban on the online game PlayersUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), which is fueling violence among the youth and has claimed several lives, according to information.
The Additional IG Operations, in a letter to the home department, described the terrible Kahna event in Lahore, in which a kid murdered four members of his family, including his mother and brothers, after being adversely impacted by the game.
“PUBG is a multiplayer online game that has exploded in popularity among teenagers. The game should be prohibited right away since it is causing aggressive behavior and suicides among youngsters, according to the letter.

“To prevent violent acts, it is important to ban the online game PUBG,” he said.
On January 27, Punjab police claimed to have solved the case of a woman doctor and her three children, whose bullet-riddled bodies were discovered in their home in Gajjumata, Lahore.
During the inquiry, the deceased woman’s son Ali Zain was discovered to be the murderer, according to the police. According to a police official, Zain, a gaming addict, murdered his mother and three siblings after his family tried to stop him from playing an online game.
Meanwhile, a writ petition seeking a ban on the popular online game PUBG was dismissed by the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday.

Tanveer Ahmed, a citizen, filed a petition with the LHC, which was dismissed by a single bench led by Justice Shams Mahmood Mirza.
The petition cited the federal government and the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) as respondents, claiming that the game has had a harmful influence on countless people. According to the report, a teen kid hooked to a cellphone game recently killed his mother and three siblings in Lahore.
