A Session Court made a decision today and declared that Atiq-Ur-Rehman is a legal husband of actress Meera. The court had rejected the actress’s request to deny the marriage judgement. Whereas, Meera still denies it.
In light of Judge Mazhar Abbas’s declaration that the nikkahnama [marriage contract] is valid, Atiq is still legally wedded to the actress.
Meera recently stated, “Atiq allegedly produced an illegitimate marriage document for the actress’ true name, Irtiza Rubab. We never officially married. None of this is true: I’m not the wife of Atiq-Ur-Rehman. Forgery was not an option for him.”
Moreover, Atiq-Ur-Rehman said that i was still legal husband of Meera in 2013. It should note that actress married for second time with Captain Naveed while she has still married to him and this is worth mentioning.
