The officer told Reuters via phone, “The crowd was out of control. “Only to defuse the pandemonium was the firing done.”
After Taliban terrorists came into the city on Sunday, hundreds of Afghan citizens blocked the airport.
American forces are responsible for evacuating the embassy and other people at the airport.
