The meeting took place against the backdrop of another behind-closed-door meeting of opposition leaders to discuss the success of their no-trust movement, which took place yesterday when Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif met with estranged PTI leader Jahangir Tareen.
In a meeting between Shehbaz Sharif and Jahangir Tareen, according to sources within the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) who were privy to the event, the former solicited the latter’s help in the no-trust movement against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
“The meeting lasted several hours, and Shehbaz Sharif even offered to include the leader of the PTIĀ in the upcoming set-up,” they claimed.
