Federal Planning Minister Asad Umar said former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif must return to the country. He said the government would guard him and protect him.
On Sunday night he was asked about the news of the former Prime Minister’s attack in London, and he replied that there was no safer place for Nawaz Sharif than a prison to be safe and look after him.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan based his policy on justice and would not deviate from his values. Regarding the attack itself, he said that “there is no information about the attack carried out by Mian Mohammed Nawaz Sharif in London because we are in Pakistan and he is in London.”

He also suggested that ever since he was attacked, he should return to his country immediately. He also said that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s policies were based on justice and it was impossible for the Prime Minister to deviate from his core values. The requirements of justice must be met for everyone.
The minister had a similar comment in the case of Jahangir Tarin. He said that if Tarin had not committed an illegal act, he would have been legally released, but that the legal requirements had to be met anyway.
