Pre-orders for Amazon’s Halo View fitness band

A new version of Amazon’s Halo fitness band has unveiled at the company’s September hardware presentation, and now you can pre-order. The pre-order price for Amazon’s first wearable with a display, the Halo View, is $50. Costs about $80 have expected.

The device, which will ship sometime in December, comes with a year-long Halo subscription. Moreover the plan includes workouts and nutrition coaching, and it normally costs $4 per month.

Amazon’s Halo View fitness band features a similar design to Fitbit’s Charge bands. The AMOLED color screen provides details about your live workouts, activity history, blood oxygen and sleep scores, among other things (some of those capabilities have limited to the Halo subscription) (Halo subscribers have access to parts of these features only). Also you may view text alerts too.

The swim-proof device incorporates a skin temperature sensor, heart rate monitor and an accelerometer. According to Amazon’s promises, the battery can be fully recharged in just two hours.

Although Halo View doesn’t have a built-in microphone, there is connection with Alexa. Moreover it’s possible to ask an Alexa-enabled device to tell you about your health and sleep quality by connecting to the voice assistant using Halo’s app settings

Amazon says privacy was an important factor in how it created Halo. “There are numerous levels of security in place to keep data safe and in your control,” the business states. It also vowed not to sell health data that’ve linked directly to you. You’ll have the choice to download your health data or erase it from the Halo app at any moment too.
