Amazon India Drug Peddling Case

A Gujarat-based textile firm has charged with drug trafficking in Madhya Pradesh. The Amazon India drug smuggling case investigation revealed ten traffickers registered at the same address in Bhind, Madhya Pradesh. The Madhya Pradesh Police recently uncovered an alleged marijuana scam selling Kadi Patta (curry leaves) on Amazon and detained three suspects.

In the drug trafficking case in Madhya Pradesh, a Gujarat-based textile firm, Babu Tex, has engaged. “Amazon informed us that ten other merchants have registered at the same address (Babu Tex),” stated Bhind’s Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar.

According to the SP, when the company has renamed Babu Tex. And marijuana was being shipped to other parts of the country. In this case, arrests have made in Visakhapatnam, Bhind, and Gwalior, said the SP. “Same buyers as Babu Tex,” he added.

“The cops travelled to Vizag in order to collect information. A police report has made.” Moreover Amazon has asked for data on vendors, shipping, and warehouse.

Bhind SP Manoj Kumar Singh met with a four-person team on Friday that included Amazon’s legal chief Swati Agarwal and a lawyer, Sumant Narang. The SP spoke with Amazon’s crew. More research is underway.
