Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly elections will take place on Sunday, 25 July 2021. More than 2.8 million people will vote for their future. For security purpose, Rangers and police and civil administration will be stationed during the AJK elections.
The AJK election commission announced the plan and asked the candidates to submit their candidacy documents at 4 pm on June 21. The final list of candidates will publish on 3 July 2021.
It should be concerning that NCOC proposed to the Election Commission that the AJK elections be postpone for two months. The coronavirus epidemic can spread during the July general election. Political marches due to elections will further rapidly spread the virus in the country.
