The ED has summoned Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for interrogation in connection with the Panama Papers investigation.
The 48-year-old actor and Abhishek Bachchan’s wife was summoned to Delhi. The ED has also notified other members of the Bachchan family for their international remittances since 2004. According to Gulf News, the case is a pan-Indian matter involving multiple agencies.
Rai had also been summoned but given additional time. The Devdas star has yet to comment on the latest developments, and it’s unclear if she’ll testify again.
