English singer and song-writer Adele had a good last night by winning three awards at the Brit Awards 2022. The event held at London’s O2 Arena. Although, she has nominated for four awards.
In their cut-out dresses, a slew of celebs appeared on the red carpet. The event appeared to be an opportunity for the stars to set big fashion trends.
Aside from being named the year’s best singer/songwriter, Adele took home three Brit Awards for her work best artist, best album and best song.
The legendary singer said. “In the face of so many heavy hitters, a piano ballad came out on top.” She dedicated her awards to her son and ex-husband. Moreover, her album ’30’ has the best-selling record of the year.
After Adele, Ed Sheeran has named Songwriter of the Year and performed his song Bad Habits with Bring Me the Horizon. For the first time, comedian Mo Gilligan hosted the event, which has webcast live on YouTube.
