Mr. Usman Buzdar urged strict adherence to the dengue surveillance strategy on Tuesday, stating that all resources should be used.
The Chief Minister urged the divisional commissioners and deputy commissioners to personally supervise the anti-dengue drive and authorities responsible to ensure their availability in the field to speed up efforts, according to a news release.
He stated that clinical management should be entirely focused on treating patients and should have access to all hospital facilities. He added anti-dengue SOPs developed in accordance with WHO guidelines should be implemented and effective efforts taken to combat the disease, while minimising negative dengue consequences.
The line departments should properly implement the anti-dengue plan to ensure citizens’ health and safety, according to Usman Buzdar.
He highlighted that coordinated efforts against dengue will be required to attain desired results. “The authorities of better performing districts will be commended since there was no room for negligence,” he continued.
On Tuesday, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar congratulated Babar Azam and other players, including M Rizwan, for breaking global records in the T20 World Cup.
The chief minister declared in a statement that the national team had performed well and would beat Australia in the semifinal.
Shoaib Malik had proved that “old is gold” by scoring a half-century off 18 balls against Scotland, he said.
Usman Buzdar claimed that Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf had sent the other teams’ batsmen back to the pavilion with their outstanding bowling. “The national players have been great and the Pakistani squad will definitely win the semifinal against Australia,” he continued.
