A review of matric test copies of Mardan student

According to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s provincial administration, an eight-member committee has been created to look into the incident.

Provincial Education Minister Shahram Tarakai, according to reports citing sources, was alerted to the development and instructed his team to re-check the copies belonging to Qandeel, who had finished first in Mardan Board examinations with a score of 1100 points.

Meanwhile, three additional students received a total of 1098 points out of 1100 to place them in second place. The PTI Minister, who was taken aback by the results, ordered an investigation, stating that an investigation team would determine whether the papers had been reviewed fairly.

He explained his reasoning for the action, stating that everything in our government is done on the basis of merit, and that as a result, a provincial-level committee will be formed to recheck the exam papers.

Earlier, it was disclosed that the girl is an orphan child whose mother works as a government school teacher in a local government. Speaking at the prize delivery ceremony, the student expressed her desire to become a doctor so that she can treat cancer patients, as her father passed away from the disease.

In addition, the chairman of the Mardan board of directors declared a fee remission for the deserving student in order to recognise her accomplishment.
