More 1303 new Covid cases reported in Pakistan today: NCOC

According to the latest data from NCOC, 1303 more people tested positive for COVID in the past 24 hours. The number of positive cases has risen to 937434. Also reported 76 deaths from the new coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The total number of deaths in the country rose to 21529 on Thursday.

To date, Pakistan has carried out 13705490 tests for the coronavirus and 41824 in the past 24 hours. 871669 patients have recovered in the country while 2967 patients are in critical condition.

In addition of 1303 new cases, 343252 COVID cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 325738 in Sindh and 135162 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 81933 in Islamabad, 26052 in Balochistan, 19623 in Azad Kashmir, and 5674 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths and cases, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. So far, 10436 people have lost their lives in the Punjab epidemic, 5183 in Sindh, 4,185 in KP and 768 in Islamabad. 559 in Azad Kashmir, 291 in Balochistan and 107 in GB.
